Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Duration: Contract (6+ Months Tentative with possible extension)

Location: Denver, CO, Onsite

Job Description:

• Over 12 years of extensive experience in Java development.
• Strong foundation in core Java concepts, including collections, multithreading, JVM internals, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in designing microservices and architecting distributed systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and scalability.
• Experience with MongoDB, covering schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Expertise in system integration using SOAP/REST APIs, message brokers, and external systems.
• Familiar with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and Splunk.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with experience working in agile environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Understanding of security best practices in microservices and system integrations.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing.
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency systems.
