A leading real estate investment firm is seeking a Director of Capital formation to lead fundraising efforts and investor relations. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing capital-raising strategies, cultivating relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, and ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Lead all capital formation initiatives, including fundraises, joint ventures, and co-investments.
Develop and execute capital-raising strategies targeting institutional investors, RIAs, and private wealth channels.
Manage investor relations, ensuring transparency and consistent communication.
Collaborate with executive leadership, acquisitions, and asset management teams to align capital strategies with firm objectives.
Prepare and present investment materials, including pitch decks, offering memorandums, and due diligence reports.
Identify and attend key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Stay abreast of market trends, investor preferences, and competitor strategies.
7+ years of experience in capital formation, investor relations, or fundraising within real estate private equity or alternative investments.
Established relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and private wealth platforms.
Strong understanding of real estate investment strategies, capital markets, and financial structuring.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Proven track record of successfully raising capital across various channels.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
