Role Summary:

The Regulatory Compliance Director will lead environmental and safety compliance across chemical manufacturing operations. This high-profile role demands expertise in regulatory frameworks and the ability to navigate complex environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead compliance policy implementation in collaboration with site leaders.
• Conduct safety audits and accident investigations to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Oversee environmental risk mitigation strategies.
• Inspect facilities for hazardous materials and regulatory adherence.
• Develop and enforce inspection schedules and compliance procedures.
• Deliver training on regulatory topics and maintain SOPs.
• Monitor and report on compliance status and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with EHS managers to address urgent site needs.

Chemical Oversight:

The role requires familiarity with the handling, storage, and regulatory implications core chemical products, including:

• Sodium Hypochlorite (12.5%)
• Granular Tri-Chlor
• Copper-Based Algaecides
• Dry Calcium Chloride
• Sodium Bisulfate
• Eco-Safe Clarifiers and pH Increasers

Skills & Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of chemical properties and environmental impact.
• Expertise in hazardous waste management, air permitting, and stormwater regulations.
• Familiarity with DHS, DOT, and Fire Code compliance.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and environmental inspection tools.
