Job Description

The Wellsville Group (Ashley) – Carpet Town Carpet One is seeking a motivated & customer-focused Flooring & Carpet Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for home improvement & design, with the ability to assist customers in selecting flooring solutions that best fit their needs. Your role will involve direct sales, product consultation, & creating a positive shopping experience for every customer.

What you’ll do…  

  • Greet & assist customers in the showroom, providing expert advice on flooring options 

  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, & maintenance 

  • Present product samples & design ideas to help customers make informed decisions 

  • Generate & follow up on sales leads, maintain customer relationships 

  • Process orders, manage inventory, & ensure timely product delivery 

  • Work closely with installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction 

  • Meet & exceed sales targets & contribute to overall store success

  • Effective Communicator Excellent communication & interpersonal skills 

  • Willingness to Learn Prior sales & flooring experience, not required if you have a willingness to learn 

  • Self-motivated & goal oriented  Willingness to follow up with leads & create opportunities for business 

  • Schedule Availability  Able & willing to work a full time schedule as described above
