Job Description

Job Purpose

  • The HR Planning Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's human resources planning strategies to ensure the company has the right talent, in the right place, at the right time to achieve its strategic goals.
  • And also responsible for accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, ensuring legal compliance, and managing the payroll system.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Duties include but not limited to the following
  • Analyze workforce data and forecast future talent needs.
  • Develop strategic workforce plans in collaboration with departments.
  • Support succession planning and organizational design initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Calculate and process employee payroll accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations.
  • Operate and maintain the payroll system.
  • Manage taxes and social insurance deductions and submissions.

Job Qualifications

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics.
  • Experience
  • At least 10years
  • Certificates
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Other information
  • Drivers license in LA.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • HR experience with a focus on workforce planning or analytics.
  • Strong analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data tools (Excel, etc.) and HRIS.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualification

  • 10+ years of experience in relevant industry
  • A resident of Ascension Parish in Louisiana
  • A Master's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or a quantitative field is preferred
  • Experience with payroll outsourcing or payroll systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
