SUMMARY:
Fluid Power Technicians are expected to fabricate, fit and install all hydraulic pneumatic systems associated with boat building. This includes, but is not limited to installing steering hydraulic system, mounting hydraulic pumps on engines, installing stabilizer, bow thruster, anchor windlass, capstan, crane and passerelle hydraulic systems, and installing compressed air systems used aboard yachts and any jobs as may be requested by the owners at the time of delivery.
WORKING MATERIALS:
Must be able to work comfortably with materials such as aluminum, stainless, brass, Plexiglass, adhesives, assorted fasteners, hardware, various appliances and hydraulic equipment commonly used in luxury yachts.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
Must have the ability to safely and properly operate equipment such as: table saw, band saw, planer, jointer, sanders, router, drill press, rollers, shears, hydraulic benders, bending equipment and an assortment of hand and power tools and such other tools required in the trade.
