Qualifications • Background in Customs Compliance, supply chain management, logistics, international trade, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, or a similar role within a fast-paced corporate environment. • Understanding of customs regulations, and compliance requirements for both US and Canadian markets. • Experience with Brokers’, US and Canadian Customs portals (ACE, CARM, FedEx, UPS) and technical aptitude for digital recordkeeping and reporting systems. • Exceptional organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail. • Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with effective communication skills for coordination with global teams, brokers, and vendors. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of logistical data management and compliance. Working Conditions • This position is based in an office environment with some flexibility for remote work as operations permit. • May require ancillary responsibilities or adjustments to working hours to assist manager and support cross-border shipments and urgent Compliance matters. • Interaction with brokers, warehousing or carriers’ staff may be required for project work.
