Position Title: Material Coordinator II

Location: Dubuque, IA

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) with potential overtime based on production needs

Visa Sponsorship: Not available

Max Bill Rate: $25/hour

Position Overview

As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely flow of materials across multiple departments within the factory, including shipping and receiving. You will support production by making sure all necessary parts are available, inventory is accurate, and any material-related issues are resolved promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement, production, and delivery of materials across departments.
• Ensure production teams have the necessary parts to meet output goals.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze and resolve material shortages and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the execution of the daily production schedule using the Master Schedule.
• Process inbound and outbound material transactions as needed.
• Audit and improve material replenishment cycles and plans.
• Expedite critical parts and resolve inventory errors to avoid production delays.
• Implement changes from engineering release and change management processes.
• May supervise or guide hourly material handlers, stock chasers, or truckers.

• Experience in Supply Management or Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Supply Management or Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with material flow processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in SAP and data analytics tools.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience (2–3 years). #INDEPI
