Job Title: Engine Mechanic II

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Duration: 6 months Contract

SHIFT: 12:00 PM to 08:30 PM

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr. - $30.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Technical Education in related field.
• Hands on experience with gas turbine engines (preferred).
• Familiar with the manufacturing principles; planning, data systems etc.
• Must have High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder per FAA requirements.

Responsibilities:

• This entry-level position requires the incumbent to learn, read, comprehend and perform a variety of basic manufacturing methods to support disassembly, repair and assembly of aero-derivative engines under the guidance of an experienced Engine Mechanic, Subject-Matter Expert (SME), Lead or Leader.
• Actively participates in OJT by learning and applying manufacturing techniques and knowledge to support disassembly, repairing and assembly of aero-derivative engines.
• Assists Engine Mechanics with preparing and visually inspecting parts, tools, reviewing sketches and technical information.
• Performs basic manufacturing, disassembly and assembly of aero-derivative gas turbine engines.
• Work as scheduled, on time and every day.
• Observe the "Three Circles" with particular focus on client Values.
• Adherence to all Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures.
• All other duties assigned by Leadership.
