Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Operations Manager to oversee daily shift operations and ensure smooth management in a dynamic and busy hospitality setting. This multifaceted role involves supervising staff, managing client and customer relations, addressing escalated issues, overseeing employee development programs, organizing events, and maintaining high-quality service standards.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment and possess strong management, communication, and problem-solving skills. The schedule for this role varies and includes predominantly mid-day to evening shifts, with occasional overnight and weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Operations Management: Direct and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure seamless service and efficiency during all shifts.
  • Employee Scheduling: Create and manage employee schedules to maintain appropriate coverage during peak and non-peak hours.
  • Team Management: Lead employees with professionalism by providing clear direction, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Client and Customer Relations: Act as the first point of contact for customers and clients, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Conflict Resolution: Manage escalated disputes, complaints, and service issues with diplomacy and efficiency.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed management reports tracking operational performance, team metrics, and incident resolution details.
  • Training and Development: Develop and administer employee training programs to enhance skills and ensure operational excellence.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Coordinate and oversee events, ensuring impeccable implementation and adherence to company quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy hospitality setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, customers, and clients.
  • Proven experience in leadership or team management, with an emphasis on problem-solving and employee engagement.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and operational processes.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including mid-day to evening shifts as well as occasional overnight and weekend shifts.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
