Organizational Change Manager

Location: Hybrid New York, NY + surrounding areas (NJ, CT, PA) Type: Contract | $65/hour Industry: Insurance

Are you a strategic change leader with a passion for driving transformation? We're seeking an experienced Organizational Change Manager to lead impactful initiatives across a dynamic insurance organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments and knows how to turn resistance into results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute change management strategies aligned with business goals
  • Engage stakeholders and foster buy-in across departments
  • Partner with communications teams to deliver clear, compelling messaging
  • Assess organizational readiness and implement mitigation plans
  • Monitor change effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with HR, project managers, and leadership to ensure seamless integration
  • Report progress, challenges, and wins to senior leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, HR, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in change management and organizational development
  • Strong grasp of change management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving finesse

Preferred Skills

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Project management background
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP)
