Role Overview :
The Railroad Administrator position is vital for the effective delivery of INDOT's road improvement projects involving railroad coordination. The Railroad Administrator will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Railroad (RR) Coordination, providing crucial guidance and expertise to the six INDOT Districts and Central Office on Capital Program projects. This role will also be responsible for developing, promoting, and implementing effective policies and procedures within the RR program to ensure efficient project delivery. This position will play a key role in coordinating with districts, railroads, consultants, contractors, and public stakeholders to ensure the timely and on-budget execution of RR projects. This position serves as a leader and central point of contact for the RR and the INDOT team, ultimately enhancing project success and reducing delays associated with railroad coordination.

This position is located in INDOT’s Central Office, Indianapolis Utilities and Railroads.
Salary :
This position traditionally starts at an annual salary of $53,222.00. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience.
