Job Description

KP Aviation , an international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is searching for the next key member of our team! The Repair Representative serves an important role on our team by coordinating and manage all repairs for airframe and engine material. In addition, it is responsible for price reductions of repair costs and managing freight spend. The position will be responsible to improve repair vendors turn-around time, repair costs and contracts that will drive down overall repair spend.

Your role will take you to new heights, as you will be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:

  • Manage repair vendors assigned to you and creating new accounts
  • Creating and editing repair orders.
  • Timing of receipt of inbound repairs
  • Work with repair lead on warranty repair orders
  • Work with Repair lead on any technical questions or issues
  • File all completed repair orders when created or adjusted with quotes received.
  • Updating Repair orders with costing received from vendors
  • Provide the warehouse with all repair orders due to ship weekly through FedEx Manager and notifications from repair vendors.
  • Export of Open RO Report and filter to identify any errors or issues within assigned accounts.
  • Maintain and update RO: Vendor Delivery, Vendor Receipt of RO, Commit ship date, vendor codes, Condition, and update of notes within the RO.
  • Reduce overall repair and freight/shipping costs as a percentage of sales annually.
  • Reduce repair costs through negotiating of repair quotes.
  • Support the sales and customer service team, as necessary.
  • Provide vendor data to support quarterly or bi-annual meetings with key vendors to measure their performance and track CARS, as necessary.
  • Request repair quotes from vendors and uploading pricing.
  • Expedite repair orders to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain an industry acceptable error rate.
  • Weekly reporting on inbound repairs, expediting repairs to meet KPA’s financial goals.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other requests and duties as assigned by management.

  • Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy
  • Knowledge and experience with purchasing procedures

  • Ability to research and analyze information and make recommendations to effectively determine pricing and maintain vendor information and preference
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and a team-driven attitude
