Job Title: 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma - Two different sites

Schedule: 3rd Shift (Typically 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday)

We're committed to delivering high-quality baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. We are currently looking for a reliable, hands-on Sanitation Supervisor for 3rd shift to lead our overnight sanitation team.

Job Summary:

As our 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor, you’ll lead the sanitation team responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production areas and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety standards. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and inspection-ready facility while mentoring team members and enforcing sanitation procedures and schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate 3rd shift sanitation team members to meet nightly sanitation goals.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment and facility areas in accordance with SSOPs, GMPs, and company policies.
  • Coordinate sanitation activities between two nearby production facilities as needed.
  • Verify the proper use of cleaning chemicals and PPE; enforce safety and food safety standards at all times.
  • Perform inspections and audits of cleaning effectiveness; address deficiencies promptly.
  • Complete shift reports, sanitation documentation, and verify compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Communicate with QA, maintenance, and production teams to ensure production readiness.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for sanitation or food safety issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or food science training is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in sanitation in a food manufacturing environment, including at least 1 year in a leadership or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs, and chemical safety.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, wet, and variable-temperature environment.
  • Fluency in English is a must, Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally between facilities as needed.
