**Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with Active Secret Clearance**

Baer is looking for SAP Basis Consultant for a 3+ month Federal project located in Kingstowne, VA.

Title: SAP Basis Consultant

Location: Hybrid - Kingstowne, VA

Duration: 3 months

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Act as SME for SAP Basis across ECC, SCM, BW, EWM, and Fiori systems.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP NetWeaver, HANA, ASE, and related databases.
• Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS), CTS+, and support Solution Manager integration.
• Administer SAP Fiori, SLT, and NWDI environments.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system monitoring.
• Lead patching, kernel upgrades, system refreshes, and migrations.
• Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, FedRAMP, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Support system integration across SAP modules and create system documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain system stability and scalability.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of SAP Basis experience supporting ECC, BW, SCM, and EWM.
• Expertise with:
• SAP HANA, ASE, MaxDB databases.
• SAP SLT, Fiori, NWDI.
• System copies, migrations, and refreshes.
• Performance tuning at application, DB, and OS levels.
• Experience with STIG compliance and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
• Strong understanding of high availability, DR, and backup strategies.
• Hands-on experience with SAP TMS, CTS+, and Solution Manager.
• SAP certifications (Basis, HANA, Fiori) preferred.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud or Azure Government Cloud.
• Prior work with DoD/IC SAP environments.
• Familiarity with SolMan E2E monitoring tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
