Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer support to both internal and external clients, ensuring comprehensive awareness of all issues impacting a designated region of customers. This role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction and adding value to the buying experience in the HVAC, construction, air exhaust systems, and related industries.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sales or as an HVAC technician.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, CRMs, or ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong aptitude to understand product applications at the end-user level.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a High School/Trade School Diploma with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill quote requests, review mechanical schedules and drawings, and assess specifications.
  • Communicate directly with customers and outside sales representatives via phone and email to represent the company and secure orders.
  • Advise customers on product availability, pricing, and terms in accordance with standard parameters.
  • Coordinate with various departments and divisions within the company.
  • Accurately process all customer requests, including orders received via phone, fax, or electronically from manufacturer reps, distributors, OEMs, and internal sales personnel.
  • Follow up with other departments (e.g., operations, purchasing, shipping, accounting) to ensure delivery dates are met and proactively communicate any shipment delays to customers.
  • Coordinate with logistics, production, engineering, and accounting departments for processing credits and return materials authorizations.
  • Ensure that issues are escalated to managers for prompt investigation and action as required.
