Are you passionate about food regulations and ready to help bring trusted products to tables across North America?

In this critical role, you’ll use your regulatory knowledge and technical skills to support internal teams and external partners—ensuring our delicious products meet the highest standards in food safety, labeling, and certification.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance and Documentation

  • Manage technical service requests, ensuring timely and accurate completion across the department.
  • Maintain and update product specifications and regulatory documentation for both internal systems and customer-facing portals.
  • Complete and manage export documentation, including USMCA submissions, and assist with maintaining manufacturing and distribution licenses.

Technical Support and Collaboration

  • Provide guidance to cross-functional teams—including R&D, QA, and Supply Chain—on regulatory compliance, third-party certifications (e.g., Non-GMO, Organic, Kosher), and customer requirements.
  • Respond to technical inquiries related to ingredients, private label support, label claims, allergens, and nutrition facts.

Process Development and Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain internal tools and resources (e.g., decision trackers, ingredient databases, training guides) that support regulatory and technical accuracy.
  • Review, edit, and proofread documents for compliance, clarity, and consistency.
  • Stay up to date on FDA, USDA, and CFIA regulatory changes and ensure internal practices align accordingly.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in a regulatory, labeling, or compliance role is required.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. food regulations (FDA, USDA) is required.
  • Understanding of food manufacturing documentation and ingredient statement review is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of PCQI, GFSI, and BRC certification standards is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Genesis nutrition labeling is a plus.
