Job Description

We are looking for Service Manager who will take the reins managing a growing team of high-performing NOC Technicians as we continue to scale and build our organization to provide timely, effective, and enduring technology solutions that small and medium businesses need to thrive in this new age of AI and hyperconnected business-to-business / business-to-consumer needs.

Leverage modern technology services platforms to drive operations and dervice performance metrics needed to inform data-driven decisions. Develop insights to help shape Millennium's strategy and prioritize process improvements as part of our commitment to continuous improvement. Coach and mentor technical staff and unlock their potential at every step along their journey with us.

Embrace and foster our culture of growth and professional development as you work alongside the Director of Technology to drive operational maturity initiatives needed to sustainably support new and existing customers throughout the Greater Detroit region and beyond.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians fielding a wide range of technology services
  • Develop, generate, and present analysis on relevant metrics and assemble reports on service and project delivery needed to scale the team and associated proficiencies
  • Effectively manage customer and technology driven escalations, coordinate resources to respond, and maintain customer expectations throughout

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience required
  • 3+ years of related work experience managing a team of (3) or more staff in a technical field required
  • 3+ years of technical project management experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, hospitality, or related field or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 product ecosystem including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive required
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 security best practices, including Microsoft Secure Score and third-party configuration baselines preferred
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell necessary to generate reports, evaluate existing scripts, and automate basic functions preferred
  • Knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800 and CIS 18 Critical Security Controls preferred
